HOPE HAMBY
Violinist
Hope Hamby is a Nashville based violinist and fiddler from the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. Since the age of six, Hope has had the joy and honor of bringing her unmistakable sound to weddings, recordings, live shows, music videos, worship ministries, and ensembles.
Hope was classically trained through the Academy for the Arts in Asheville, North Carolina and was an active member of the Asheville Symphony Youth Orchestra. Her unmatched commitment provided her the opportunity to perform in a masterclass for the world-renowned violinist Midori, aside from opportunities to further her education through summer programs at Furman University, The University of Tennessee, and as a Worship Arts intern at Grace Community Church. Upon finishing her high school diploma with high honors in 2020, Hope earned her Associate in Arts degree from McDowell Technical Community College (Marion, North Carolina) graduating with honors in 2020.
Hope holds a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Violin Performance from Belmont University (Nashville, Tennessee) graduating Cum Laude in 2024.
Hope enthusiastically works as a teaching artist with St. Bernard Academy and Nashville Christian Academy, opportunities fueled through her participation in Belmont University's collegiate chapter of American String Teachers Association (ASTA). Her dedication to master her craft has allowed Hope the opportunity to study in Italy as a participant in the 2022 Festival Suoni d'Abruzzo, as well as contribute to projects with artists Tommee Profitt, Jordan Smith, Skylar Grey, Our Last Night, and Love and the Outcome.
Hope pours all her efforts into pursuing a meaningful career as a touring, recording, and teaching professional in Nashville and the greater area.
